First Snow in 50 Years

This was our first snow in Burbank; the last snowstorm in Burbank was 50 years ago.

What I've Been Doing This Month

1. Smiling while awake
2. Longer hair
3. Longer alert times during the day
4. Working on standing more often
5. Longer tummy time
6. Longer play time
7. Looking Mommy and Daddy in the eyes more often
8. Kicking my legs a lot during diaper changes
9. Rolling from my tummy to my back
10. Batting my pacifier out of my mouth and sucking it back in
11. Wiggling my arm(s) out of my swaddling blanket within minutes
12. Loving to be moving or moved all of the time
13. Calming down with my favorite lullaby CD or my pink seahorse
    
14. Sucking on my hand(s)
15. I really like to be held and cuddled extra much right now
16. Twitching in my sleep at startling noises
17. Grabbing Mommy's hair and Daddy's chest hair .... Ouch!
18. Sleeping for a four hour chunk, eating, and then sleeping for a three hour chunk at night :)
    
19. I love being bounced around (we call it "pogo baby")
20. Blowing spit bubbles
21. Making cute noises such as "mow, ow, aa"

So my little baby is now over 10 pounds. She's growing up so fast. She is taller, more alert, cuter, etc. I love her soooooooooooo much! I cherish each moment of her life.

Aurora turned one month old yesterday. It's been amazing watching her grow up before my eyes. I can't believe how much she has changed already. The following are several things she's been doing this month:

1. Looks toward noise
2. Waves arms around
3. Kicks legs
4. Makes excited noises (sounds like hyperventilation in a cute way)
5. Grunts and makes lots of noise when she eats and sleeps
6. Burps loudly (some even rival my own burps)
   
7. Holds up her head briefly
8. Focuses on faces
9. Purses her lips
10. Clasps hands together
11. Usually sleeps with one or both hands above her head like her Daddy
12. Often does the superman pose with her arms
13. Looks at lights
14. Lots of sleepy grins & some awake ones
    
15. Pirate baby face with one eye closed and one open
16. Curls up in a ball on her Daddy's chest (we call the pose "ladybug")
17. Plays with her tongue
18. Makes spit bubbles
19. Focuses on playmat toys
20. Slept through the night on February 3 and a few times since then
21. Made her first cooing sound on February 11
