What I've Been Up To:

1. Crawling faster 
2. Pulling up and standing
3. Moving from furniture to furniture while standing
4. Exploring like crazy! (e.g. opening drawers, emptying containers, pulling on, tasting, and touching everything)
5. Clearly saying: Mama and Da
6. New foods/drinks: apple juice, wheat, garlic, onion, blueberries, noodles, nectarines, oranges, chocolate, sugar, lemon, cheese, puffs, cheerios, avocado, mustard, blackberries, tomato, grapes, strawberries, raspberries, butter
7. My first story time at the library
8. Getting up and standing up all by myself on October 10 for 5 seconds
   

8 Months Old

What I've Been Up To:

1. Crawling forwards on my hands and knees- August 16
2. Eating: sweet potatoes, corn, chicken with pepper, pears, apples, bananas, wheat, melon, spinach, peaches, salt
3. First time in a park and a park baby swing
4. Sitting up unsupported for longer periods of time
5. Kneeling
6. Pulling up and standing supported
7. Getting into everything
8. Entertaining myself for longer periods of time
9. Whenever I see my Daddy, I squeak, giggle, and crawl quickly to him
10. Typically sleeping 8-9 hours at night
11. Starting to help feed myself and hold my sippy cup to drink my water
12. Falling down a lot because I'm working on this whole balancing/gravity thing
13. Playing happily in the church nursery without Mommy with me for a whole hour- twice so far
14. Letting Mom and Dad go on a date in Big Bear
15. Using my two-handled sippy cup
16. Starting to cruise along the furniture
17. Humming, singing, bouncing, and jumping along with music
18. My godparents: Jared, Dee and their son Aaron visiting me
